In this programme, Farming Today visited us as one of 22 pilot projects for the "Landscape Recovery" scheme. Our project group of 50 farmers and landowners are being paid to make changes across over 3,200 hectares along the Evenlode, Dorn and Glyme with the aim of improving water quality, increasing biodiversity and contributing to the prevention of urban flooding downstream. Although the pilot is worth £500,000 of public funding (to design the scheme, organise the legals and governance), we are confident to attract much more funding from private finance.
