Does the traditional technique of grazing on winter crops help reduce inputs without compromising yield? Join the Dunthrop team to find out how their second year is going.
Time & Location
24 Jan 2024, 11:00 – 12:30
Dunthrop Farm (///intent.pill.validated), Dunthrop Rd, Chipping Norton OX7, UK
About the Event
Dunthrop Farm started grazing winter wheat and Oil Seed Rape last year and learnt a great deal in year one. Walk the crops as they enter the second year of this re-emerging practice to discuss the success and challenges. What are the benefits? How much time and equipment does it take? How have the soils and yields responded? Bring your queries and join the discussion.
This event is open to farmer members only to manage numbers and keep the discussion focused. We anticipate continuing the event over a sandwich in the Crown, Church Enstone, for those that wish to carry on the discussion.
