About the Event
What will farms need to look like and how will they need to adapt to survive the inevitable consequences of a rapidly changing climate in an increasingly unpredictable market?
We are delighted to invite Nick Gates and Benedict Macdonald for a screening of Save Our Wild Isles: Hungry for Change, followed by a talk about their vision for the future of farming Farming 2050. The evening will incorporate regenerative examples from around the country, looking at biodiversity, soil and mycorrhizal recovery, carbon sequestration and water strategy. They will also touch on ELMs, natural capital, carbon and nutrient markets. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, and we hope you will leave feeling hopeful for the future.
Nick Gates is a naturalist, producer, director and author. As well as working with Sir David Attenborough as a producer/director on BBC Wild Isles, Nick also directed the #SaveOurWildIsles 'Hungry for Change'…
