About the Event
Curlew is listed as one of our four target species in Evenlode Landscape Recovery. So many of the strands of the Cluster’s projects are opportunities for conservation of the curlew. What can all stakeholders do to identify and report sightings of waders, which activities benefit waders (habitat creation, management and predator control)?
Kindly hosted by NECFC member FAI Farms at Wytham, join the Cluster, CNL project leads at Glorious Grasslands, Curlew Recovery Project, Everyone’s Evenlode, as well as Natural England and Curlew Action, to look at the optimum conditions to attract and sustain wading bird populations. Hear about survey/nest protection plans for both curlew and lapwing, and talk about basic steps landowners can do to help these species.
